Elemental and stat preferences chosen at creation become increasingly less skewed as characters level up, until a place they become unnoticeable. Few skills might be cross-classed, plus they only be a little more restricted as FFXIV Gil players progress. Any character of the given job in XIV plays identically to every one other character with the same job.
I said before that customization options are imperative that you MMO players, but that surpasses just visual customization. Playstyle customization also allows players to affirm their preferences in gameplay and, when they want, stand above allies with identical jobs as a result of significantly different and quirky builds. There’s admittedly something cool about doing something specifically when you see so few other players take action.
The good thing about playing as FF14 Gil being a Thief that has a Black Mage sub-job is actually playing Dungeons and Dragons as being a rogue with levels in sorcerer. Diversity among their groups means a great deal to MMO players, so having a lot more diversity even in the same jobs and roles helps players find their niches regardless if they share similar bases. So FFXIV’s stricter character systems rubbed me the incorrect way… in the beginning.
