Square has tried implementing higher raid tiers inside past for Final Fantasy XIV. The Savage Coil of Bahamut would be a rework of FFXIV Gil sorts from the second tier on the first raid inside the game, providing a larger challenge for teams who had already cleared the greatest level of raid content. It was obviously a cool idea, nonetheless it was promptly dropped to the third and final wing in the Bahamut raid, and was not ever revisited, even once, within the Heavensward expansion.
It's a perception that Square Enix is saying they want to obtain back to, so that as of Stormblood, they're adding The Unending Coil of Bahamut (Ultimate), formerly generally known as 'Super Savage." Although we end up needing more details evidently it's a fight that has Coil bosses Twintania, Nael, and Bahamut, and can require realization Stormblood's savage content (currently V1S-V4S) to go into.
There's no weekly limit, and players will receive a token to Final Fantasy XIV Gil exchange to get a weapon that is going to be the same loot level since the Neo raid (i345). My raid team cleared Neo additional week (and I'm one Glaze from full i340 adjusted Tuesday), so I'm ready.
