Brewers' Josh Hader apologizes after old tweets surface during All-Star game

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Josh Hader apologized late Tuesday for tweets with racist and homophobic content he posted seven years back that surfaced when he played within the All-Star game.

“I was young, immature and stupid,” said Hader, 24. “There’s no excuses.”

Dan Halem, chief legal officer for Major League Baseball, said the league would consider whether or not to MLB 18 Stubs issue your firm stand out Wednesday. Hader said he planned to deal with teammates if your Brewers return for your second half —starting Friday resistant to the Dodgers — and said he could well be ready for possible discipline.

“I’m ready for virtually any consequences for the purpose happened seven in years past,” he explained.

As word in the tweets spread throughout Nationals Park and across social networking, people in Hader’s family stood within the hallway beyond the National League clubhouse. Family members removed jerseys together with the Hader name or turned them thoroughly.

Hader said he learned in the situation when he came out from the game — he faced five batters, quitting four hits and three runs — returned towards the clubhouse and checked his phone to identify a blizzard of messages alerting him to your old tweets.

“There isn't any excuse for was said,” Hader said. “I am deeply sorry for I have said and what was happening. It doesn’t reflect all of my beliefs taking now.”

He was asked what MLB The Show 18 Stubs had changed within his beliefs between then and today.

“Nothing,” he explained, adding that some with the tweets will often have reflected rap lyrics.

“I is at high school,” he stated. “We’re still learning who we have been in high school. You live and also you learn. This mistake won’t happen again.”
