Facebook provides two badges, which are Top Fan and Valued Commenter, respectively. The Top Fan badge is given to those Facebook users who are regularly active or engaged with a page or group. How to get the Top Fan badge?

As already discussed, you need to be active with a dedicated page or group to get this badge. From watching all the posts to liking, sharing, and commenting, you will have to do everything for the Top Fan badge. However, this badge is connected with the particular Facebook page or group as well. The page or group needs to have more than 10,000 followers. Also, they need to enable Facebook badges to feature to be achieved by their followers. If the page has enabled badges feature, you can check out the Top Fans on the page by going to the left section and clicking the Community option. Once you click on the Community option, the top fans of any particular page will be shown to you.

How to give Top Fan badges?

If your group or page meets the requirements, you need to follow a few steps to provide the Facebook badges feature. Here’s the process:

1. Firstly, you must enable the video template for pages on your page.

2. To do that, sign in to your Facebook account through computer and go to your page.

3. Click on Settings from there, then Template and Tabs, and then choose the Edit option.

4. Now, pick the Video Page template for your page.

Other than this, it is essential to have over 10,000 followers on your page, and your page needs to be at least 28 days old. The civic engagement badge should not be there on your page as well. Once all these things are ticked off, you can enable Top Fan Badges easily on your page.

After you turn on the Facebook badges feature, the Top Fans will be automatically selected if they meet the requirements. If you don’t want to remove the badge from a commenter on your page, click on the particular comment by your Top Fan and click the Remove Badge option.
